Camp Kirk is a registered charity that provides an overnight camp experience for children who have learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, and high functioning autism. We offer a nurturing and non-competitive environment that emphasizes strengths and builds confidence. We provide a community experience that promotes strong mental health so that our campers can lead productive, meaningful and happy lives.
WORKING AT CAMP KIRK
Camp Kirk staff work as a team to ensure the physical and emotional safety of the campers. The staff sets the tone of the camp and sends the message to the children that they are in a supportive environment where they are free to be themselves and take risks. These are no small tasks that the staff achieve each summer, and working at Camp Kirk may be challenging at times. However, we strive to provide our staff with the support and guidance they need to feel confident and empowered to support the needs of our campers. For this reason, there is no doubt that a summer at Camp Kirk can be an extremely rewarding experience.
