Camp counselors will be responsible for 10-12 children with a variety of behavioral, emotional and/or mental health problems. Counselors will be required to complete pre-camp training in group therapy, Behaviour Management System (Crisis Deescalation) and general camp protocols (these will be offered at no cost if you are hired and will be included in paid work hours). Counselors are expected to have lots of energy, be enthusiastic, be willing to lead camp songs and perform in front of large groups of campers. Camp runs from July 1st – Aug 24th, Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm. Counselors will be required to be available ALL camp days from as early as 7:15am and as late as 5:45pm.
