We teach the Red Cross curriculum from Starfish all the way to Swim Kids 10. As well as instructing, a member of our pool staff is expected to lifeguard all of the free swims for the various camp groups throughout the day. Our pool staff is responsible for the maintenance of the outdoor facility, equipment, change rooms, and to have current qualifications before the beginning of camp.



Required Current Qualifications:

National Lifeguard Certification
Standard First Aid with CPC “C” (This includes the First Aid Update Clinic and AED training)
Instructor Certification
Criminal Reference Check for Vulnerable Sector
Prior experience with a pool setting and children, including those with special accommodations
Creative team player with communication and leadership skills
Responsible, self-motivated individual committed to the safety and development of all campers
