Founded in 1936, Camp Tamakwa is a coed children`s overnight summer camp located in beautiful Algonquin Provincial Park. We offer a diverse in-camp program with over 20 activities as well as a canoe tripping program

We are seeking enthusiastic, responsible, well-organized individuals to fill our Swim Director position. The Swim Director plans and implements the program of swimming instruction as well as supervises safety of the waterfront.

The Swim Director not only teaches swimming, but is responsible for training and supervising the swim instructors.

Applicants require a strong background and qualifications in swim instruction, life guarding, and staff management.

Dates: June 17- August 17 ( possibility of extension)
Qualifications: Experience managing other staff
Experience on the waterfront
Experience teaching
NLS Waterfront, WSI - ( can complete after hiring if necessary)
Additional Notes: Staff are required to live on site in Algonquin Park.
