Camp Wanapitei is looking for an individual with lots of initiative and enthusiasm to join our trip leader team.
Qualifications:
 Must be at least 18 years of age as of June 20, 2018
 Experience working in a camp setting or with children and youth
 Experience with flat-water canoe tripping
 Must have current Bronze Cross certification or higher
 First Aid and CPR qualifications
 Creativity and Initiative
 Strong leadership skills
 Police Reference Check
Responsibilities
• Safety of campers on trip and on site (includes safe food handling, water treatment, safe campsites, good judgment about safe canoeing conditions)
• Camper screening prior to trip to assess skills, ability and history
• Creating a comfortable, respectful and fun tripping experience
• Packing food and supplies for trips
• Care, inventory and maintenance of tripping equipment and materials

Contract: June 20th to August 27th or June 20th to 29th (for training) and then July 28th to August 27th . Other contract dates may be available.
